Things to Do this Easter in Tennessee

If you are new to the Nashville area, you may need to find a new way to celebrate Easter. Never fear, Nashville will not let you down. There are plenty of events—holy or secular, children or adult—to help you get into the holiday spirit.

For the Kids

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – April 19th & 20th

If your kids need a special breakfast with a special someone this holiday, they can be a VIP at Lucky Ladd Farms. The fun doesn’t end with the breakfast buffet. Visitors will get to spend a little time with some baby animals, as well as having craft time, and a picture with the Easter Bunny himself.

Spring Festival & Easter Egg Hunt – April 19th & 20th

It wouldn’t be Easter without an Easter egg hunt! The bunny will be busy hiding eggs around Lucky Ladd Farms. There will be plenty of prizes, plus more games, activities, and crafts. When the eggs have all been collected, be sure to stick around to hear the story of Jelly Bean the Unbreakable Egg.

Easter Bunny Excursion Train – April 20th

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum will be sponsoring a ride with the Easter Bunny on a restored classic stainless steel passenger train. The 90-mile round trip will traveling all over the state, as the Bunny makes visits in each car. Egg hunts and various lunch stops will be available during the layover in Watertown.

Family/Religious Events

Sonrise Resurrection Pageant – April 20th

One of the best ways to welcome Easter is to watch a dramatic production of what it’s all about. The Southern Adventist University presents this annual pageant to illustrate the final days in the life of Jesus Christ. Beyond the presentation itself, visitors, students, and all others will get to experience what Jerusalem was like at the time of crucifixion and resurrection.

Easter Sunrise at Ober Gatlinburg - April 21st

If you will be in TN, but not in Nashville, you can still celebrate the holiday at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains at sunrise atop Mt. Harrison as you worship outdoors on Easter morning with other believers. After the half hour service, the Seasons of Ober Restaurant invite guests to enjoy their breakfast buffet.

Easter Brunch – April 21st

After a morning of worship, you are sure to be hungry. Look for specials at some of the best restaurants in Nashville, including:

Sea Salt Nashville
Fontanel Mansion
City Tap Nashville
Capitol Grille
City Winery Nashville

Adult Events

Nashville Bunny and Brew - Adult Egg Hunt – April 13th

No kids? No problem! You can still join in the Easter fun with an egg hunt of your own. Lucky Ladd throws in some adult favorites for this event—prizes, live entertainment, lawn games, apps, and all-you-can drink brew or Coke. It’s an event you won’t want to miss.

So no matter what you’re looking for, if you find yourself in Tennessee over the Easter holiday, you don’t have to celebrate alone.
